Exhale is an expression of self-perception amidst unexpected change. What happens when we lose a piece of what seemingly defines us? Through tension and grip on the things that ground identity, the piece explores a fluster of different emotions and versions of oneself. It is a beautiful journey of fear, self reflection, and ease into the exhilarating unknown.

Exhale, directed by Haley Dimeck and choreographed in collaboration with dancer, Nicole Decsey, is an invigorating film of conflicting, yet empowering emotion. The piece unearths ideas around self-perception, what forms identity, and the varied versions of ourselves that are constantly present. With awe-inspiring stage filmography by Colton West and gripping outdoor scenes captured by Matthew Wilson, the film will leave you touched and inspired to continue breathing into new life chapters.
