Favourite movie and why?
“I’ve always been in loved with the little details of life, with the things that go camouflaged as mundane. And, there is no movie that captures that feeling better than“About Time” by Richard Curtis. A movie about a hopeless romantic that uses his time travelling powers to find the love of his life and make his family happy.”
What motivates you to create?
“The thing that inspires me the most is people. For me, characters are the ones that make a story interesting, they are the ones that steal the audience’s heart. And, what better way to create one than paying attention to the people that surround you.”
Has your style changed over time?
“Completely. It’s part of growing; you gotta change, and your art changes with you. Is something that you learn to embrace and love, and you shouldn’t be scared of that.”
What do you hope to accomplish with your art?
“I would like to bring people comfort. To show them that nobody is perfect, that we all make mistakes and that it is alright. I would like the people that experience my art to go back home in loved with their own life.”
Who in your life inspires you?
“The list would be endless. But, in this new stage where I’m trying to figure out with way I want to take my life in, I would have to say that my partner really inspires me. He is the one that gets to see how all this new experiences affect me in real life; and I am really grateful to have somebody like him to support me through this journey.”
